Suspect taken into custody after attacking three people at San Francisco International Airport
San Francisco, California – An incident at San Francisco International Airport on Friday night left three people injured after a man attacked them with a large knife.
According to a statement released by the San Francisco Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. when three men who were in the pre-security area of the international terminal were attacked with a knife by the suspect after he arrived at the airport.
Responding officers arrested the man without further incident.
According to authorities, a large knife was recovered from the scene.
The attack left the victims with minor injuries, who were treated at the scene before continuing on their travels.
The suspect was taken into custody. Information on his identity was not released amid the ongoing investigation.
