Several weapons, marijuana, ammunition seized after a traffic stop in Concord, two people arrested
Concord, California – Authorities conducted a traffic stop in Concord, and two individuals, including one with a prior felony conviction, have been taken into custody.
Law enforcement officers patrolling in the area at the intersection of Laguna and Ellis streets made a traffic stop on Thursday.
Officers then conducted a search of the vehicle, which led to the discovery of two loaded weapons in addition to marijuana that had been packed for sale.
After further investigation, officers determined that the driver of the vehicle had a previous criminal record, prompting the execution of a search warrant at the property he owned in Concord. During the search of the property, four more weapons, ammo, body armor, and a significant quantity of marijuana were discovered.
The identities of the two individuals were not made public. They were both taken into custody and booked on several weapon and drug charges.
