Police investigating alleged robbery in downtown Concord

Concord, California – Concord Police are looking into an alleged attempted robbery that occurred in downtown Concord late Thursday evening.

We got in touch with one of the witnesses who described what happened that night.

In Todos Santos, the suspect attempted to steal the victim’s bicycle. The suspect fired three times at the victim with the gun, which turned out to be an airsoft weapon.

Following the victim’s retreat, he pursued the suspect all the way to the Exxon Station at East and Willow Pass.

The suspect then took cover in the business and explained to the clerk that he was being pursued by someone and told him to call 911.

It is still unknown whether or not anyone was hurt, and there is no other information available at this point.

The case remains under investigation.
