Concord’s Sun Valley Mall shooting under investigation

Concord, California – According to authorities, one person was injured in a gunshot Monday evening at the Sun Valley Shopping Center in Concord.

After receiving a call of shooting, officers were dispatched to the mall at 5:53 p.m., between Sears and the Red Robin restaurant.

According to authorities, officers found the victim and transported him to a hospital.

The suspect sped away in a vehicle, police said.
