Traffic on San Francisco Bay Bridge stopped due to illegal fireworks display
San Francisco, California – Traffic on the San Francisco Bay Bridge was stopped on Tuesday night due to an unplanned and illegal fireworks display.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 10 to 15 vehicles came to a halt on the bridge shortly before 8 p.m., and passengers got out and started lighting fireworks.
Traffic was stopped for about two minutes, after which the drivers got back into their vehicles and drove away.
No injuries were reported.
