Palo Alto police looking for a female robbery suspect
Palo Alto, California – According to police, the Stanford Shopping Center was the scene of a robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 4:55 p.m. inside the Nordstrom shop. When the victim, a woman in her 20s, was about to leave a store, she was approached by another woman. She had just bought $2,500 worth of goods.
According to authorities, the suspect rushed out of the store with the victim’s shopping bags in her possession. The victim followed the woman and watched as she drove away in a gray Toyota Camry.
The victim identified the suspect as someone she had known before, according to the police.
Authorities provided a description of the suspect, saying she is a Black female in her 20s, standing at 5’1″ tall and weighing around 140 pounds. During the robbery, she was wearing a black tank top, black jeans, and sandals.
The victim also told the police the suspect was with another woman while fleeing in the vehicle, describing her as a Black female, wearing an orange shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and a white surgical mask.
The suspect’s vehicle was last spotted going eastbound on Sand Hill Road, near El Camino Real.
