Hit-and-run accident leaves pedestrian in critical condition

San Jose, California – An unidentified pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident involving two automobiles in San Jose on Friday night, according to a tweet from the city’s police department.

Officers say the incident occurred at the junction of Senter Road and Southside Drive at about 8:30 pm on Friday.

Because of his life-threatening injuries, the victim was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, southbound traffic on Senter Road was diverted to a different route.
