Fire officials determine that the home fire where a body was found was intentionally set
Concord, California – A man was discovered dead at the scene of a home fire, which officials from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said was intentionally started in various places throughout the house.
The fire broke out on Euclid Avenue shortly before 6 p.m., and the area where the fire occurred is considered a quiet residential neighborhood.
As soon as he heard about the fire, the victim’s brother made his way to the site. He said that his brother was 76 years old and owned the home. He refused to comment further.
According to relatives of the victim’s family, they do not have any information on a possible motive for the fire.
Investigators are working to discover the exact reason for the fire as well as the manner in which the individual passed away.
