Emergency kit supplies for elderly required at Meals on Wheels Diablo Region
Contra Costa County, California – People in California were dealing with multiple disasters through the years that have passed.
A constant reminder for Californians that a disaster might strike at any time is the Caldor Fire’s billowing smoke.
Being prepared entails having a strategy in place and a well-stocked emergency kit. Meals on Wheels Diablo Region needs assistance collecting supplies for emergency kits for elderly clients as part of National Preparedness Month.
They request flashlights, batteries, personal first aid kits, medication organizers, whistles, blankets, waterproof ponchos, note pads and pencils, manual can openers, and plastic bags.
You can send donations directly to Meals on Wheels Diablo Region through an online retailer. Alternatively, you can be drop off donations in person at MOW Diablo Region, 1300 Civic Dr., Walnut Creek.
