Concord teacher taken into custody on allegations of engaging in sexual acts with students
Concord, California – The Concord police have arrested a middle school teacher on allegations of engaging in indecent and lascivious acts with kids.
According to the authorities, Professor Dean Walker, a teacher at Pine Hollow Middle School, was taken into custody early on Thursday morning and charged with multiple felonies as well as misdemeanors in connection with his interactions with students at the school.
Superintendent Adam Clark told students’ parents and employees at the Mount Diablo Unified School District that authorities had notified them about the arrest.
The 60-year-old teacher, Dean Walker, was placed on leave while police were conducting an investigation into the allegations.
Walker is currently being held at the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez.
The case has not yet been brought to the district attorney’s office.
