Concord City Council will meet on Saturday to discuss the city’s priorities

Concord, California – Officials in Concord say that the City Council will meet on Saturday for its annual meeting to talk about the city’s priorities.

At the meeting, the council will discuss issues the city faces, such as staffing shortages and economic issues.

The council will also debate the priorities for Tier 1 projects over the next 15 months, such as customer service, Concord’s long-term fiscal stability, quality of life, the former Concord Naval Weapons Station, organization health and employee success, infrastructure maintenance, and public safety.

The recovery from the pandemic will also be one of the main points to be discussed at the meeting.

During the workshop, which will include an opportunity for public discussion, the goal is to reach an agreement on what the city’s objectives should be moving forward.

The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Concord Senior Center’s Wisteria Hall, located at 2727 Parkside Circle.
